Peter : I'm not sure what I'm doing with my life anymore.

Joseph : What's the problem.

Peter : My job is boring, I spend much money and I'm always depressed.

Joseph : I'm not in a position to tell you what to do with your life, Peter.

Peter : Just take a guess, then.

 

피터 :  내 인생을 내가 어떻게 살고 있는 건지 더 이상 잘 모르겠어.

조셉 : 뭐가 문젠데?

피터 : 일은 지겹지, 돈은 많이 쓰지, 늘 우울하지.

조셉 : 내가 너에게 네 인생을 가지고 어찌해야 한다고 말할 수 있는 처지가 아니네, 피터

피터 : 그럼 그냥 한 번 추측만 해 봐.

 

 

A : You're going to turn in this report like this?

B : I did the best I could do.

A : I'm not in a position to tell you how to do your job, but this is terrible.

B : Fine, why don't you write it?

 

A : 이 보고서 그냥 이렇게 내려고?

B : 난 최선을 다 했다고.

A : 내가 너에게 어떻게 일을 하라고 말할 입장은 아니지만, 이건 정말 심한 걸.

B : 좋아, 그럼 네가 쓰지 그래?

wild guess : 그냥 되는 대로 마음대로 아무렇게나 추측하는 것.

educated guess : 정황을 참작해서 경험에 빗대어 하는 비교적 정확한 추측.
