I want to play the field   (사람을 더 만나고 싶어)

 

A. Did you hear?  Scott is getting married later this year.

B.  No way !  I thought that guy was never going to get married.

A.  I guess he met the right one.

B.  I just can't believe it .

     He used to be the biggest player.

A.  Well, I'm not getting married any time soon.

      I want to play the field more.

 

 

A.  그 소식 들었어? 스콧이 올해 결혼 한대.

B.  말도 안돼, 그 친구는 절대 결혼 안할 줄 알았는데.

A.  임자를 만났나 보지.

B.  믿어지지가 않아. 그 친구는 상당한 바람둥이 였는데.

A.  아무튼 난 아직 결혼 할 생각은 없어.

     더 많은 사람을 만나보고 싶어.

 

      play the field 이성과 교제 하다.   이것 저것에 손을 대다. 짝을 �다.

      player란 바람둥이란 속어.  playboy란 대신 널리쓰임.
